Support B.W. & ELDOR & Tesla Mold Development Engineering in the mission of providing our
customers with world-class tooling for new product introductions and capacity upgrades,
including mold processing analysis during concept development, tool fabrication, qualiêcation,
and on-boarding.
Fabrication and Project Management: Initiate and sustain new project documentation utilizing
existing department procedures and processes o Ensure tooling solutions meet total project life
requirements, optimize cavitation, meet or exceed cycle time targets, and minimizes material
usage o Interface with and manage tooling suppliers during concept development, fabrication,
and ênal qualiêcation of tooling Determine manufacturability of plastic component concepts
from Product Development Engineering (PDE) prior to acceptance for tooling. Provide rigorous
DFM guidance to PDE for part function, ease of tooling, lowest cost solution, ease of
